I don't often like first person, but the strength of the characters and the 'world' this book is set in grabbed my attention from the start. The hero is unconventional and the set up very different from anything I've read lately and that's what kept me reading. I couldn't stop. From the minute I read the sample I had to buy and read.Mags is open and real, a woman I could relate too in a job many of us would see as glamorous (manager to a rock star or babysitter perhaps) but which she made very real, faults and all. Jules is that mix of arrogant tosser and little boy lost, who you can't help but fall in love with. A rock star who shows us he's human.
If this is Ms. Kenyon's first book, I can't wait to read more of her work. Who says self-published books are not quality - this certainly is!!! With bells on.
I thoroughly recommend.

I really enjoyed reading the story of Jules and Mags and the colourful characters surrounding them. It didn't take long to become immersed in the story and the pages turned quickly.
There were many conflicts and conflicting personalities, combining to make the story of a larger than life rock star and his entourage , seem real. Colourful locations and surprising turns of events carried on at a pace that was quick but never lacked credibility.
Kenyons treatment of Jules was clever, as she prised sympathy from me as a reader for a character who had supposedly had everything. Mags had to endure torment and self sacrifice before obtaining the clarity that comes with true love.
I thought the ending was particularly well written, without becoming cliche. It made me wonder what would happen in the next instalment, which I believe is the test of a 'good read".
I thought this was a great rockstar story as it was different than others I have read. Julian is a rockstar and Mags has been his organizer. In a loveless marriage, Mags cannot help falling for Julian. Trouble is she is married. How does Julian feel about that? Enjoy their story! It was sweet and romantic!
This is going to sound odd, but what I loved most about this book was the way the author was able to pick the reader up and set them into the story. I felt as if I were a fly on the wall watching everything play out. And this was done subtly WITHOUT elaborate long details which I'm not a fan of. Props to Tni Kenyon for mad writing skills. While I only mildly liked the characters--again this was done in with some savvy writing. I'm not sure I was always supposed to like Mags and Jules and that's part of the charm.
I'm a huge fan of Rock&Roll love stories.This one rates right up there with Olivia Cunning's "Sinners" & "Sole Regret" and "FitzWilliam Darcy". I can't wait for the 2nd book to come out in April! This story has it all... Heartbreak, Steamy but Very Real love and really tough choices. At one point, I cried like a baby and in the next, I was yelling at my Fire. LoL...
Bottom line- Totally worth adding this book to your collection!
Everything about this story clicked for me - The Rocker & his assistant - Julian MacAvoy ( I love his name!) he is every woman's fantasy and Magdeline (Mags) O'Brien trying like hell not to be one of them - plus she is still married. This book gives you a backstage pass to the inner workings and it was what I love most about it - What an an ending and do not despair - the next 2 books are available

This was about two people who worked together. He was a major rock star and she was his right hand. She held the band together. He had melt downs. She was married and he went through fans nightly.
